Barco develops various tools for meeting, both hardware and software. However, since meetings are increasingly hybrid or not in person at all, Barco needed to find new opportunities.
In the future of work that we envisioned, meeting spaces were used more for connecting, creating opportunities for new ideas, and serendipity than for doing desk work. Using tools such as interactive screens would allow distributed teams to still connect and have opportunities for serendipity. So while the team is physically distributed, they would still be able to connect in other ways.
Because there was still little known about whether the future would be truly remote, hybrid, or physical, we developed a roadmap that encapsulated all of those possibilities. Also because there were bound to be differences in the path various organizations want to take.
